This is the third time I have resurrected this post after having erased it accidentally from the site, and since it may be relevant to myself and others, here it is again, updated for 2024.
Lessons learned from my first stab at a "real" video production.
Another successful recreation, although with a whole lot of missteps. But I learned a lot, and I hope I remember it all the next time I could use the info.
I learned a better way to work with content of different sizes inside Fusion, so this is just an update on my previous post on how to do that.
I went back to one of my first learning projects with After Effects and tried to get it working in Resolve Fusion.
Initial thoughts on Nightingale's Realms Rebuilt are positive. The gameplay is intact, but the deck has been shuffled with improvements in some/many/most/all of the systems make the game feel tighter and more focused.
Video editing is interesting to me -- yet another project I could take on, somehow -- but how does one go about producing an "interesting" video game video?
This is what happens when too many significant changes happen when you step away, or are just annoyed by change in general.
